Quarterly Social Data Optimizations

On the first Tuesday of the last month of each quarter we update the Spend and Impression totals in each market to account for differences between our projected figures for the quarter, and the actuals announced in quarterly earnings.

Q3 2021 Social Data Optimizations

As of Monday, December 6, 2021, we have updated the Q3-2021 Spend & Impression totals for Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter. We have also made a historical adjustment to Facebook in the UK that better aligns with quarterly trends. See below for the before and after differences.

Facebook and Instagram underperformed relative to expectations while Twitter outperformed expected revenue in Q3. 

This is part of our quarterly process to align Social Spend with publicly reported earnings from Facebook and Twitter, as outlined below: 

On the first Monday of the 3rd month of each quarter (March, June, September, December) we will update the Spend & Impression totals in each market for Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram to account for differences between our projected figures for the quarter, and the actuals announced in quarterly earnings.
